DR Rare are the brand/model of choice for my McPhearson Sable. Less plasticy, easier on the fingers.

I use John Pearse #710 New Medium PB strings on both my CF RainSong guitars. I like the hybrid medium size (.055-.013) which give more tension for strumming and volume as both are short scales and the PB tames the CF shimmer just right. Love them. Just ordered six more sets.

I’ve got a set of Pearse #600 PB Lights in the string box, reserved for the X20-7. I’m really tempted to try them on my X20 - but I’ve also got a set of D’Addario XS, and an NB pack in the queue. Decisions, decisions.

Maybe I need another guitar

I just put some of the D'Addario XS strings on a cheap Kala Parlor guitar. I like them a lot on that small guitar, really seemed to take the tone and playability up a few notches. I haven't been an D'Addario fan that much in the past, but will buy more of these.

I bought a couple of those $12 6 packs of Darco PB lights from Musicians Friend I think it was. My Journey really likes them after many other trial and errors. Can't beat 2 bucks a set for decent strings.
