Another option with that neck is the Road Series

I should probably restate that I'm looking for an all-solid wood spruce/rosewood dreadnought with 1 3/4 nut, and no cutaway, no electronics.

Seagulls USED to be commonly 1.8", but they've been moving away from that nut width with only a few 1.8" models remaining in the lineup.

Note, too, that the Alvarez Masterworks MD60BG has forward-shifted, scalloped, x-bracing (I wonder why? Because pre-war Martin bracing is the bracing to copy…). |

Of course, the OP could go for the Japanese-built Yairi... Yairi Masterworks DYM70, but the nut is only 1 23/32" (between 1 11/16" and 1 3/4"). All the other specs would be met. Price is over twice as much as that Alvarez.

I just realised why I had to learn fractions in elementary school ... so I'd later realise how silly and impractical the imperial system is ==>

Well, I finally sold my HD-28 2006, and I have ordered a HD-28 reimagined ambertone; it's supposed to get here by next Monday. I hope it's what I need because it's probably the last guitar I'll ever buy.
