Default Gibson Original series

Wondering if anyone checked out the new line of Gibson Montana offerings at NAMM. The historic series is definitely interesting though they will no doubt be pricey. Wondering about the Original series... are these likely to essentially be the same guitar as their standard counterparts but with vintage appointments, or is there something more to the series? For example is the LG2 Original essentially the same guitar as the American Eagle? I guess these will hit the local shop soon enough but curious to know if anyone was able to check them out yet.

I was actually made inquiries to pre-order the new 2020 Gibson Historic Series 1957 SJ-200 after seeing them here on the AGF. https://www.themusiczoo.com/products...ntage-sunburst

Exactly what I wanted.

Bad news - Gibson policy does not permit sales of new guitars from US dealers to countries outside the USA.

I believe Guild and Martin have also adopted this policy.

Some say that Gibson prefers to send all their "B" stock to other countries.

Sadly from the few I've tried in a couple of stores here in Australia ... that may be true!

Britain sent their convicts, Gibson sends their rejects.
