There isn't any heat in my basement other than from the hot water pipes and it's usually comfortable down there. I don't think I need anything that big, I'll look around. I don't recall the humidity getting much lower than 30 but until I add a humidifier, I think I'll keep that guitar upstairs until I'm done with it.

Thanks for the interesting photos of your building!
How is it that your workshop looks always so clean and tidy?
Mine usually looks a little different ...

I like order and cleanliness, in my shop at least.

Jeez. There's literally a litter box at my feet and a "wine nook" in the corner of my workshop; I'm interloping on my wife's wine cellar. There are also 3 bicycles that I have no hanging space for and a foldable bike stand for my other other hobby.

BTW, I have one of those Aprilaire humidifiers on my furnace and hard water. I just changed the filter but I think the copper supply line may have calcified shut. My plumbing needs a triple bypass.

No dish for radius? I guess it won't matter for this strip but is there any radius fore and aft?

Good question, I have radius cauls I had used for the radiused back braces, one underneath each brace. For the top I use radiused braces and clamp on the flat surface to achieve the required internal tension to the top. Another option is a radius dish and flat braces, both methods will induce internal stress to the top to give it stiffness.

What I'm seeing is you build your back cylindrical and there is no curve neck to heel.

Pete, I’m curious about your go bar rods. Are they threaded rods? Sure don’t appear to be the fiberglass type I use. How about a photo of the top end in action?

You mean neck block to end block? It will be curved, when it is glued to the sides. Even if a radius dish was used, that curve would not be built in until it is glued to the sides.

Yes, 5/8" threaded rods for the 4 support rods and 1/4" threaded rods for the Gobars themselves. The adjusters are simply threaded rod couplings on each end. They provide 1 1/2" of adjustment in total. I found some vinyl caps for cushioning. It was a brainstorm I had 10 years ago, and it has proved itself to be completely efficient and functional. At first, I had 2 of them in operation on my Sjoberg's bench but last year I decided one mobile deck would be best. Here are some random photos from the past.
