Default Home Humidifier

I thought I’d share that I had a nice whole house steam humidifier installed and it’s doing a great job holding my level at 45%. Before it was dropping down into the teens..

It is an Aprilaire 800 system. Not cheap, but now I can leave my guitars out if I want to. There’s an internal canister that will need to be replaced about once a year. That’s about $70 online and appears to be very simple to do.

Nice looking unit, hope it works well. It certainly is a satisfying feeling to see the humidity levels rise during the dry season!
