Right on! Just don't ask to play my guitar.

Wow! I kept expecting the strings to break and go whipping around at any second and the neck to snap off, too. I could not watch the whole thing. Too painful for me. Catfish was having a good time but as others have said, I wouldn't hand my guitar over to him for a song. Yikes!!!

Good video to get to know Catfish Keith, bad video for trying to find out how that guitar actually sounds.

I didn't like the way it sounded.

Definitely not even remotely close (in my universe) to the "Best Guitar Demo ever." Quite the opposite.

I wonder what the responses would have been to the exact same demo but with the thread titled

Very Fun Guitar Demo!

Completely different, I bet.

Love me some Catfish Keith...and I thought the guitar sounded fantastic, too.

It wasn't the best GUITAR demo.

It was a good Catfish Keith demo.

I have now scratched him off the list of musicians I care to see and hear live. It is this kind of style that kept me from getting INTO acoustic guitar for years.

I play a similar style of blues with a similar percussive attack on a Gibson AJ. As performance it's a great style, as the only example of a guitars tone/sound/presence it's very lacking.

That demo was...painful. Had to stop about halfway through. I am not found of demos where the emphasis seems to be "Look at me wanking on the guitar" instead of "Let me tell you about this guitar and give you a sample on how it sounds". But I understand people have different tastes, so some may enjoy it.

Welcome to the AGF Catfish Keith where notes that don't "bloom" are held in contempt. (That's a joke folks)
Hope you have a thick skin there Keith.

I loved it. Listened all the way through. I wanted to know more about Uncle Ned. I'll wager he loved some fried up catfish with a little twang and soul in the mix. " Don't matter who fixes it but I wants my twang and soul to bring me down home." Sold.
