Default Source For Gig Bags

Is there a good source for gig bags other than the usual online suspects? Just want to be sure I'm not missing something. I am looking for a parlor or classical gig bag.

Many thanks!

Fusion brand bags are fantastic. Incredible build quality. Very protective but not heavy. I’ve had one for a couple of years and always use it when my guitars go out the door. https://www.fusion-bags.com/

I have a Fusion for my PRS P22 and it great if a bit bulky. I have my forever parlor guitar, a 2007 Froggy Bottom and am thinking of a nice gig bag for it. Was suggested I check out for higher end options. Not looking for bling but a custom fit may be worthwhile for me

I'm a fan of TRIC cases:

I have a Godin and a couple of guitars that have a Tric or somehting very similar and I think they are a lot better than softer gig bags.

I like that the TRIC cases have shoulder straps. This is a primary issue for me when I am on car trips. Leaving a guitar in the car...negative . Carrying a hardshell case around for hours...negative .

You get the picture.

Not sure of the measurements of the little rain on, but the mono 80 parlor bag is really great and fits my Satan Cruz PJ to a tee. Couldn’t be happier with it. I use a Reunion Blues Continental for my 0018 18vs. Equally good. Both bags were on the expensive side, but I found them used and saved a few buck. Horst recommendations. Jeff

I don't recall the answer, but this question gets regularly asked and answered in the Carbon Fiber room. There is a solution.......

Carried mine that way last night. Loading in and out and you have a hand free too. Thumbs up.

Default Access Stage 1

I like Access Stage 1 gig bags. I've also got one of their Upstart models which is low on features, but relatively protective. If you open an account you will get lower prices. Try the coupon code THANKYOU. It might work (or might be tied to a previous order on an existing account...).

https://www.accessbagsandcases.com/p...y/access-bags/

Here are some pictures of a RainSong Parlor in an Access Stage 1 3/4 bag next to the very nicely just big enough TKL Parlor case.

I carry my Martin LX1 in one of their 1/2 Stage 1 bags. It is perfect for air travel.

I have an Access Stage Three 'small body acoustic' bag (https://www.accessbagsandcases.com/p...uitar-gig-bag/) that is a perfect fit not only for my shorty, but also for my Martin 000-15 and Journey Overhead. It is not dissimilar to the Tric bags, in that it has both a rigid and soft foam portions (as well as an excellent neck support), and protects a lot better than the hardshell case the Rainsong came with in addition to providing more carry options and better storage. It's more expensive than the Stage One bag posted above, but I think the extra protection afforded by the rigid substructure is worth it for me. YMMV.
