Default "REFLECTIONS ON THE DAY", new fingerstyle instrumental CD

Hi folks,
Very happy to have completed this CD project this spring. Homebrewed/professionally mixed/mastered, friends/family effort with 12 original songs which spanned 5 guitars and 2 1/2 years of work.

Always fun to present these to folks......very fulfilling!!

All the best,
Fred

Thanks so much, Bob!! Was glad to have found it (cover pic)....it's a "stock" non copyright photo........I often use my own photography where possible.....Here's how the song lists worked on the inside cover with my own pic.

Exciting news - Congratulations Fred!

I looked all over google and iTunes, no word of it yet. Where will you be expecting distribution? Your future fans want to know...

I recognize some the tunes from your soundcloud Fred, and they will make a great album.

What was your at home recording set up before sending it for professional finishing?

Thank you Carmel, Dustin and Bob!!!

Right now I may look into Spotify as a way to highlight the album and give that a try. This is mostly friends/family type thing and not commercial......My Soundcloud has many of the tunes..........but it's a mix which is spread out a bit and some of the tracks on SC are not ones I used for the final CD disc.

Bob....to answer your question:

I have two Shure KSM 137 mics which run to a Rane DMS 22 mic pre-amp. From there the chain goes to a Zoom H4n. I record in our dining room which has higher ceilings and both wood floors and carpet in our 107 year old house. Behind the mics I have 3 bass trap type panels (portable 4'x2'x4") set in a little "booth" (ala Fran Guidry) which I think helps the overall sound be the best it can be.
Also, for these projects, I like to send the files out to be processed professionally as I feel it's worth it to have them carry the best sound possible. to me I want to know I've done as much as possible to create
a solid sound knowing that I do have limits with my little set-up, but a lot of time invested in creating and saving them to last. I can really tell the difference when I compare it to anything I mix here at the house.
Thanks so much for your interest, Bob!
Regards,
Fred
