Default Books on the relic process?

Starting a tele build, and just for the heck of it, may try to relic it. Any good books on tips, methods?

Play bar gigs 5 nights a week for 20 years and it will be reliced.

I am new to this whole thing, but have to agree with old school methods.

Why do I want my guitar, furnitures, clothes or anything else to look all old and worn out? If I break them in myself over years and I love them, that works. But why let any one actually distress, or worse, fake distress anything?

Angle grinder works very fast. A nice punch set with a hammer would work well for dings. Some kind of astringent that can remove/strip paint would be useful I'd think. Check out these tuners:

I agree. I have about 20 in the long-term relic process as we speak. Just want to have a little fun try to speed it up a bit.

I reliced a cheap uke kit. Did a bad finish/refinish, put wear marks where expected, cigarette burn, wacked it against the bench for dents, chipped a tuner button,
