Speaking of which, I made a post in the events section outlining this year’s exhibiting luthiers. It looks like it is going to be a great show...

I hope to see you and the guitar at Woodstock again this year Bob...I don't think I will have a Sexauer yet at that point though. I do not know 100% if I can make it as my work and life schedule are not clear to me at this point, but since Woodstock is taking a hiatus the following year, it would be a shame to miss this one.

Yes, it will be two years until the next Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase. I always enjoy that weekend both inside and outside the show. I hope that you can make it...

Default Tuners

I got the word today that the Rodgers SS23 Single Gear Unit tuners are headed out for Michael's shop from Rob Rodgers in Canada. We ordered them with simplified shaft sleeves, short style pips and ebony oval pattern buttons.

Default Watching the Tea Kettle

While it has been four weeks since the last nitro coat was applied, we have decided to wait until Michael returns from Guitar Week at the Swannanoa Gathering in first week of August to buff it out (6+ weeks), assemble the neck to the body, fretboard inlay, build/assemble a bridge etc. My case from Jeff Hoffee is on the critical path at the moment (not due until late August). Michael will have the guitar for a number of weeks post-completion to watch it settle in and to “tweak” it before shipping it.

Bob, I don't remember if you have any other Koa guitars in your collection?
If not, this will fill that slot beautifully!
If so, there will be some sibling rivalry ahead...
