Default Hooper D-28 #44

How do you get more authentic than a Martin Authentic? You use sitka for the bracing like John Arnold says. If you aren't familiar with Hooper google "umgf hooper" These are considered by many to be the best golden era Martin recreations. This one has a John Arnold select adirondack top, sitka bracing, gorgeous straight grained honduran rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut/saddle and cocobolo headstock. Super light build and its got that prewar d-28 magic reverb ring to its punch. Nice authentic style neck too. This is your chance to cut in front of the ever growing waiting list for a Hooper. $4,500

Its this exact guitar in this video:

Amazing guitar for a great price. Ken's waiting list is indeed long. To give you some perspective, he's just finishing my build which is #62, and I believe his current waiting list is at or around #105.

No affiliation.

While I have no affiliation with the seller, and, sadly, no budget for this guitar, I have to say... WOW! The wood on this guitar is beautiful.
