I play this on steel string.

There are many others, but this one is timeless.

If you enjoy the kinds of music he plays (as I do), anything by Toby Walker is excellent. He has multiple YouTube videos, and a website:

Disclaimer: no connection except as a satisfied customer, student and fan.

John Knowles published the "Fingerstyle Quarterly" and sells issues still. I really like his arrangement of "Vincent" (Starry, Starry Night) in issue #7. You can listen to a clip here:

http://www.johnknowles.com/archives01.htm
(go to issue 7 and click on the "Vincent" text.)

or a full performance on youTube:

It's a very playable arrangement. And of course, the newsletter has a lot of fine arrangements; you can hear clips from his website page.

I'm so glad you shared this! I had forgotten that song and it's so beautiful, and so is the movie "Loving Vincent" The Aminor to D7 is beautiful to play and sing. I'm will start learning this song now

If you know more of these melancholic, and deep fingerstyle songs please share

Here is another fingerstyle arrangement of Vincent, He does a free tutorial on it as well. It's so beautiful

Regarding the John Knowles version of Vincent:
Is the lesson / tabs included if you purchase the old issue?
