Picked up a G&L ASAT Tribute locally and got a Spark Mini to go with it. Mostly looking to expand into Lightning Hopkins and John Lee Hooker territory. Nothing that won’t also sound good on acoustic.

That is one pretty Sonic Blue G&L!!! Especially nice with the humbucker and a great maple fretboard. Really nice.

How are you liking the Spark Mini? I’ve been very tempted…

Too early to say but it seems pretty cool. The interface is pretty intuitive.

Yes, I do get the blasts, but there are other things vying for $200 of my play money right now

Diggin that. Very cool color. Subdued. Classy. I like it. I had a G&L ASAT tribute semi hollow. Outstanding craftsmanship. I felt they rivaled some US offerings. At a fraction of the cost. The new amp is like icing on the cake. Enjoy, and play in good health.

Oh, please keep us updated as you spend more time with your new rig. We always love to hear follow ups.

Nice, I have almost the same guitar (Sonic blue in the classic tele config rather than bluesboy).

I kept scrolling down your pic, searching for the amp. Reminds me of the day my wife got the family our first puppy. When I came home from work, my wife took me to the backyard and proudly presented the pup with a majestic sweep of her arm... only, I saw nothing because the puppy was so tiny, about ten inches long, and was a Golden Retriever hidden in a small, bucket-sized pile of fall leaves. I said, "Um, I think you've been cheated." The puppy finally came out from under the leaves. Knowing what a fully grown golden looked like, I discovered that the tiny puppy had about a half-inch of snub nose. I said, "Um, I think you've been cheated."

Silly me: the dog turned out to be a wonderful companion. Good things sometimes come in small packages.
