Default Still searching for Crossover 2k range

Had the Multiac SA for years and traded it. Loved the action, but sometimes the high strings sounded plasticy to my ear. I recently tried the Taki 135sc. SO close. Loved the sound of it. The frets were way too small for me, cramped my hand. And the high E sounded dead (I tried different strings). But loved that tube pickup system.

In the 2k range, any other ideas? To play Chet/Jerry stuff. I have heard great things about the new Multiac Deluxe...

Much appreciated.

PS I have the Cordoba 55fce. Great guitar for straight classical. Fishman pro pickup system can't be beat. If they made a crossover version I'd buy it.

I was looking in a similar range. If I was going to buy one I would go with Furch.

I've been on that search myself, and ended up with (for now at least...) the Godin Arena Pro in Bourbon Burst. The neck is what did it for me, perfect width and spacing for me.

Surprisingly loud and full sound acoustically given its narrow body, and also very comfortable to hold and play.

hmm i wonder if the Furch is available in a larger size nut . 1 3/4 " is kind of tight.

OP here, thanks for these responses. Any love for the newer Godin Multiac Deluxe? I'm leaning that way, though no way to play one first. The re-enginnered pickup system is enticing, with the mic, and saturation circuits. Plus I love the Godin necks and frets.

Default crossover

Hi Dory, I've got a 2008 Taylor NS72ce in very good to excellent condition that I have been thinking about selling. At 1 7/8" nut width, it's just a little bit wider than the Furch crossovers. I'm looking to get $1700 net. Thanks, Jim

Have you considered Kremona guitars? They are in your price range and sound pretty good to me.
