As mentioned in another post
Myvolts ripcord for Harmony G XT used with a USB Powerbank
I've used ripcord cables with other pedals successfully..
I believe the cables are specific to brands and pedals based on voltage and connector configuration..

I use this battery with my Phil Jones 75 wt. Double Four bass amp and Yamaha THR5 amps. Have played for over five hours and still have plenty fo juice left.

Smile Ripcord

I ordered the ripcord a few days ago. May take a while to get here. I will post when I have tried it out!

Thanks all for all the help

Paul

If you get a hum from a wall plug, it is the filter. If you get other noise, it’s because of not enough voltage/watts. Check your powerbank.
I assume, the cause is the cheap electronic in your cable.

Try, if you can find, a cable from Ripcord. They have a version for the Harmony G-XT. It is a bit more expensive (about 25 USD), but should work. You can buy it from the company myvolts.

Hope that helps.

Thanks all! The ripcord arrived finally…. It does come with a tip converter, not shown in the pic above. It works just fine! Pleased to report!

I also found the small Costco car battery jump starter has a usb out so it may power stuff too.

A splendid musical Christmas/Chanukah/Solstice/Kwanza/Festivus to all!
