The Masterbuilts were odd birds...I don't think they were really marketed well to jazz players, who would definitely have NOT been looking for that quacky piezo. And I just don't think there were enough other players interested to keep them going.

Godin too, has stopped making their acoustic 5th avenue (bummer)

So we're left with Eastman and Loar. The Loars are excellent--if you can get on with the afforementioned V neck. Eastman makes very nice guitars, but in the Benedetto style, which sound wise is not my bag.
