Default Does something like this exist? (Sample player/Drum machine)

I'm imagining a piece of gear that I would love to have, but I can't quite figure out if anyone makes it and I don't quite know what to call it. I think the closest thing is maybe the Akai MPX8 but honestly I don't even really know the terminology here so maybe what I want exists and I'm just not calling it the right thing.

Basically, I'm looking for something portable with velocity-sensitive pads, a variety of drum samples, and basic looping capabilities. It'd be great if it had a speaker, although that might be asking too much, and the ability to run wirelessly would be great too. Ideally, also the ability to save and export drum loops.

I'm not interested in something which is primarily about pre-recorded rhythms - although maybe the quality on those has gotten better since I last listened to any of them - it's fine if they're an option, but I'm more interested in being able to create simple beats on the fly from a collection of samples.

The ideal device would be something I could throw in a backpack and take with me and my acoustic guitar somewhere.

Does anything like this exist?

Oh, that's the closest I've seen to what I have in my head!

Thanks!

Why would any sane person create a robotic, or digital, drummer?

Aren't the regular ones annoying enough?

Someone doing some home recording could find it useful I suppose. A solo/duet that wanted some percussion here and there to liven things up a little but either didn't want to pay a third guy or just didn't have the space.

These conversations always remind me of the joke:

I bought a drum machine so realistic it tried to sleep with my girlfriend

An iPad? All of those drum machine and sample players are available as much cheaper apps.
