Default BOSS AD-10 Acoustic Preamp to what

Hi,

I purchased some months ago a BOSS AD-10 Acoustic Preamp in order to shape the sound of my piezo-equipped guitar when playing with friends at a rehearsal room.

I wish now to practice and jam at home, using a ditto looper, but I dont have any acoustic amp.
I wonder if I can use the BOSS AD10 combined with a simple external stereo speaker for that purpose.
Would it work properly, using the 1/4 inch jack output for example ?

NB: I also have an electric guitar amp (Laney Cub12r) but I dont know if that would make any sense at all.

Thanks

I'd try with your existing guitar amp and see how it sounds. I have the older AD-3 and AD-5, and the AD-3 has a switch to be turned on when using with a standard guitar amp. based on my experience I think there's a good chance you'll have a nice sounding setup without buying anything additional.
