Default Goodall TR 000 12 Fret - Adi/Bubinga

Offered is this superb Traditional 000 12-fret built by James Goodall. The top is Adirondack Spruce and nicely figured Bubinga for the back and sides. Bubinga is very dense like Rosewood and produces a similar tone. I think you'll agree that the back grain pattern is gorgeous.

Specifications:
Built in 2006 s/n TBu0004489
Shape: Traditional 000
Scale length: 25"
Body Width: 15-3/16"
Body Depth: 4 1/4"
Nut Width: 1-3/4"
Neck Material: Honduran Mahogany
Back/Side Wood: Figured Bubinga
Top Wood: Adirondack Spruce
Binding: Curly Maple
Purfling: Herringbone
Rosette: Herringbone
Peghead Overlay: Ebony
Fretboard Wood: Ebony
Fretboard Binding: Curly Maple
Bridge Pins: Stained bone
Tuners: Waverly w/Ivoroid buttons
Nut/Saddle: Bone
Backstrip Style: Chevron Wood Marquetry
Hard Shell Goodall Case

If you like the comfort of an OM but want the power of a dread, a 000-size guitar might be the right combination. It has lots of low and middle register thump, but with the clarity and note separation of a smaller guitar. Dig in hard with a pick or fingerstyle, this guitar responds appropriately, and the tone is exactly what you’d expect from a Goodall. Built in Hawaii in 2006, it looks and plays like a much younger instrument. The only signs of wear are some very light and hard to find shirt button scuffs on the back and a string change scratch or two on the Ebony headstock overlay.

Offered for $5,250 net to me. No trades, please.

I may be one of the few people on the planet who's never been crazy about Goodalls. To me there are almost too many colors in their tone making them sort of kaleidoscopic. The trads, however, are in a whole other league, combining all that color with some real oomph. This one is gorgeous and you won't find a better gentleman on the forum than Philip. Best with the sale....
