Where to go from here...
Any idea where I can find a tutorial on how to move from say, the traditional A minor pentatonic scale (?):
5 - 8 5 - 7 5 - 7 5 - 7 5 - 8 5 - 8 up to the next octave? or to the next set of strings? Where do you do the "cross-over" and what does that cross over octave look like? Any good ideas on how to improvise on a solo with more notes than these or having to count full steps and half steps from the root each time?

a great book
Hi
I recommend 'blues you can use' by John Ganapas - Hal Leonard. Goes through the complete minor and major pentonic all keys in a very logical, build upon way. Really helps 'see the fretboard' and intervals. |

Do you know the other positions of the scale?
If you could get the first, second, fourth and fifth positions, then you could "cross over" from the third (what you posted) to these others. Hope that makes sense.
