I am home after a 22 hour day and 10,000 +/- air miles. Got 8 hours sleep and I feel as good as I have in years. I may even work!

Well, I didn't work yesterday, instead I played guitar and violin all day long. Almost did that today too, but got distracted by Tom's guitar over in the corner "curing". So I picked up the neck, sanded it with 2000 grit wet'n'dry, and buffed it:

I have the body buffed as well, and plan to assemble the neck to the body on Monday, that's tomorrow! The template of this guitar is very close to an L00, merely distorted into asymmetry and with a cutaway added.

Beautiful rosewood and I really like the shape of the cutaway.

I agree with all your sentiments and feel very fortunate to have Bruce make this masterpiece for me. I know he feels very good about it thus far, we should have a very good idea in the next few days when the strings meet the guitar for the first time.

In the bass guitars it's slowly catching on, but I doubt if it will make a big impact in the regular guitar market!
