Baranik PX DIp $4750
I just bought two NOS Martin limited editions and am looking to move a few guitars to make space. Thus, the Baranik PX is back up for offer. I purchased this from Juston a few months ago to match my Meridian due to the similar trim. It is in mint condition, just as when I took possession. Here are the details:
2014 Baranik PX This guitar is approximately 00 in size with a 14 1/4" lower bout width, but comes across more like an OM tonally. The bass, in particular, is impressive for a guitar of its size. The guitar was originally built with the reinforcement for a sound port so that one could be added later. I wanted to hear the guitar without a sound port first. I later decided the guitar would have more depth with a sound port, so Mike added one for me. The guitar sounds much less directional after the change. For that reason, you'll see some original pictures without a sound port. Top: Colorado blue spruce with wonderful silking B&S: Mahogany with light figure Decorations: Deco-style tiles with ivoroid Bridge: Ebony, pyramid Tuners: Open-back Schaller (Waverly style) Neck: Mahogany with medium C profile Frets: EVO Nut: 1 3/4" Saddle: 2 5/16" Fretboard: Ebony Side port: Yes Case: Hoffee carbon fiber, silver exterior with green interior This guitar is in like new condition, as is the case.

That is a beautiful little guitar. It looks simple from an overall view and then you see all the details everywhere like the fret markers and the binding on the fretboard, everything, the little details are so cool and yet the overall look is clean and neat. That is really something Matthew. I might reluctantly admit that you and Justin have good taste!!!!

Baranik PX PRICE DROP $6000
I had the pleasure of playing this guitar a few months ago at Juston’s place. It’s a stunning example of Mike’s work, who’s detailing and perfectionism stand up to the closest scrutiny. The Art Deco theme makes it truly special.
It’s a fantastic player as well, with bucketloads of tone. Its clarity, warmth, delicacy and power are on a par with every Baranik I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. At this price, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more impressive 00. GLWS, Matt.

Friendly bump for great guitar and seller.
If I wasn't already on Mike's build list I'd be very tempted. His work is outstanding. Col |
