I have had some issues posting pics. I usually am not this incompetent, well maybe I am, but I figured it out. Rosie uses a cross bracing technique for the back bracing that makes for a responsive back.

I just received some updates
 Dry fitting the back to the side assembly. The back bracing and the ‘tantilons’ (the individual pieces attached to the sides that attach to the top and the back) are all made out of English Cherry.  Attaching the soundboard to the side assembly

Here Is a few more
 A look in at the soundboard bracing. The main X brace is made out of English Douglas Fir and the bridge plate English Sycamore.  Once the soundboard is attached, little ‘feet’ attachments are created to attach to the brace ends that intersect with the sides. You can see the side soundport here also.

Happy Monday everyone.
I have some more pics and it is coming along  Start of the Turnstone bird headstock emblem. The bird wings are whittled away using chisels and gouges to reveal the colors beneath of the neck and headstock veneers.  Slotting fingerboard with a fret saw.
