Sold: 2006 Martin D-18 Authentic 1937
Happy New Year. Up for your consideration, a 2006 Martin D-18 Authentic 1937. I once owned a fantastic GE, but the A is like an opened-up, lively version that can sound huge and responsive and/or delicate and 3D. I have played just about every modern D18 incarnation and it sounds as good as you would hope for and imagine.
Great, great neck. A comfortable C. Not a boatneck, imo, just ideal. The action is low. If you’re a real hard player you may want to swap saddles. Excellent+ condition. A small surface scratch below the pickguard that you can see after up close inspection and shining the guitar in the perfect light. Overall incredible condition for a 14 year old guitar. A stunning adi top. Opening the case for the first time is quite a moment. The light pick scratch is pictured. There was a nearby light reflection that I x-ed out as the is no blemish there and I pointed to the mar for clarity. Serial 1185839. OHSC included. If I could hang on to it, I definitely would, but I’d have to make too many financial considerations and added stresses, so it is up for sale. No trade offers, please. $sold to your door w/ pp f and f, or add 3% if you’d like to use standard pp. I’ll cover the shipping - UPS ground, insured, CONUS only. And, just to say it, allow for a full 24 hrs acclimation. Google “Artisan Guitars guitar unpacking” for the best unpacking guidelines. Local sale would also be very welcome, of course. Hope it finds a good home! Last edited by ZigZuege; 01-01-2020 at 09:26 PM. Reason: sold |
