Avantone makes two dual head stereo microphones which are perfect for capturing duo performances: the CK-40 and an upscale one called a V44K.

Actually, I think this is the Vanguard Audio Labs V44s. Ken Avant, formally of Avantone, came out of retirement to be part of Vanguard Audio.

Now I understand! For some reason I thought it was the same company. Thanks for your correction. In any case, I LOVE the way it sounds and just ordered a gen2 one I found on eBay.
