Default Simple Rumba Strumming Anyone Can Play (Video Tutorial)

Hi guys,

Check out this video tutorial for a simple rumba strumming pattern. Hopefully, this can be useful for you or for your students. It's also nice to know stuff like this for when friends / family are over and want to learn something quick on the guitar.

For you classical players without a tap plate to protect your guitar, just do the golpe with the flesh of the ring finger (instead of with the nail).

Enjoy!

I'm already subscribed to your channel. Will have to put this on my to-learn list.

Is that a Francisco Navarro guitar that you're playing?

Really appreciate your subscription my friend, I do hope that the uploads there are useful for learning

That is, indeed, the Francisco (Marlon) Navarro Student Model Blanca... it's a fantastic guitar for the price

You already sounded impressive in this 2017 cover of John Clarke's "The Most Evolved" on your Yamaha so the Navarro must be an absolute killer for you.

Come to think of it, this is probably the best cover I've ever heard. I daresay that I like it even better than the original.

Wow that is quite a compliment!!! Thank you for checking that out. It's actually a bit crazy looking back to that video because I don't really know how I got such a good sound... I was just recording with my £350 Yamaha and a £30 Snowball Yeti microphone in a random meeting room on campus. But the Yamaha is a beast.. I sold it unfortunately, and I am seriously considering just buying another
