Nice one, I've been curious about how the back and sides look under finish. I have some Macacauba/Curatinga Rosewood I've resawn. Mine has some light curl.

Here are the finished photos. Really came out nice. Great tone and doesn't mind at all being pushed.

Just got back from the shop and giving this a rather lengthy test drive.

First thing I'll say is it's a darn good thing it's a 1 3/4 nut, because I'd be seriously tempted to do something really silly!!

The woods are much more striking than in the pictures, especially the back. I took Bill's pic from when he'd applied the sealer and attempted to photoshop it to make it look like it did today......

The Adi top is just perfect - nice tight grain on the inside getting wider as it goes out. Very white and clean all around.

In regards to the tone, it was very loud right out of the gate, and incredibly meaty and round while maintaining a wonderful string separation in the mids (a big test point for me!)

But I think the most impressive thing about it was the FAT trebles - I'm not sure I've heard another instrument with such thickness in the upper register. I played an old solo that goes up to the 20th fret and I don't think I've ever heard it sound like that before on an acoustic.

If you've been thinking about one of Bill's guitars for a while, this might be a very good time to jump. There's only so much sound that can come out of a guitar and this one pretty much covers it!

Great review, Todd. Someone's going to score big with that one when they take it home!

not familiar with your beautiful work and spent too much this year on axes, but what is your sales price on this. Geeze, I hope its high so I am not tempted any more than I already am on this beauty.

Good grief, I need a cold shower after looking at this gorgeous guitar.

I'd love one of these, but based on the prices listed on the website it would take a lot of saving before I could justify placing an order. Thankfully there are people who kindly post these pictures and allow me to indulge my guitar lust in a far more affordable manner..
