Off topic a bit but I guess Martin is now offering the Anthem or Aura Enhance as options in their guitars.

I just got a new-to-me four year old Martin 000-18 and put the Fishman Ellipse Aura pickup/preamp in it. I had a Martin D-15M with the Anthem (full one w/blend) which did sound very nice, but in a bigger band w/electric guitars I find the Fishman Aura easier to dial in and more feedback resistant. Blending in a little bit of the same guitar tone with one of 4 different mic's provides a very quick path to great FOH tone.

I just started looking at the FISHMAN website for info on the Fishman Ellipse Aura pickup/preamp...
It's 4 Stored Images right?

I'm an owner of the Anthem StagePro (the version with onboard preamp) and am honestly not a fan of the sound. A pity there aren't many other options in my country though!

I always use my Aura DI and get good sound. The tuner could definitely be improved, and the feedback notch filters don't work very well. Maybe I got a bad one. I have to turn the volume to ungodly levels before it kicks in. I have to just turn that feature off. (Mostly use my Bose L1 model 2 with Tone Match & the larger bass module. Also I usually play my Martin J-40 ce with the barn door electronics - which I absolutely love btw).

Yes, I was at the summer NAMM show last week and was VERY surprised to see a bunch of the Martins on display with the Baggs Anthem installed. Nice to have options!

Yes - 4 different images can be stored in the Ellipse Aura pickup/preamp. I just had one installed in a new-to-me Martin 000-18. It's a great sounding unit and very easy to navigate and dial in. Built-in feedback suppression too. I like it a lot more than the full blown Anthem I had in a Martin D-18.

The big challenge with my Anthem SL rig was to get it EQed effectively. Since I finally achieved that, I am much more satisfied with using the Anthem SL rig than I was (for a couple of years) with using the Aura Spectrum and stock sound images.

YMMV. I have a friend who gets awesome amplified guitar sound with the original Aura processor and custom sound images.
