Some changes to Emerald's 3D Builder
FYI Emerald has made some changes to their 3D builder:
- They roughly doubled the choices on fretboard inlays. And also made some sensible changes to the vine inlays, where the leaves fall on the cardinal fret locations (I tried to get them to do this a couple years ago when I ordered an X-20, but no luck). - Added more options for fretboard radius - Put the slider for changing the veneer position out by the guitar - The background view has changed, though you can still get the old Emerald Hall if you like. Some nice additions to an already impressive tool. |

Not sure if this is an iPad quirk or not, but I’m not seeing the veneer slider anywhere; also, purple and teal have disappeared from the standard CF finishes. I do like the new inlay designs - the offset lines, in particular - but not enough to pay for them

Those are some nice upgrades. The lighting is better and you can see the silhouette against the stark white backdrop much better.
I've got to get me an Emerald before the base prices reach $3K USD

Purple and teal are gone from the black CF for me as well. Another quirk: All inlay types can be selected for the Amicus now but only the dots and rings show up on the guitar. Those invisible inlays do have a price tag though.
