Further, the wider necks and string spacing of classical might be a problem. For many of us our subconscious minds adapt fairly well in several days. But later you should read up on mainly left hand position. Maybe take a few lessons. Or study up and work it out yourself, as many have done. - Stevo

Don't just focus on the guitar. Think about what it may take...
If you can practice a bit each day, try the Pumping Nylon book a bit at a time.
But definitely a nylon string is the way to go.

WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree. At 55 I have relearned how to read music vice the tab I fell into on the electric side of life. The selection of the method book and a repatoir book are pretty important imho. I like the Parkening Methoed and the DelCamp D01 as my tools right now.

I am all over used guitars in the area but am now at - maaaaybe if I did more disciplined practice I would sound better than a new guitar.
