Mark and Tone King have been around for 25+ years. I had one when they first were introduced. His forte is clean sounds, he makes high quality products.
There’s also Victoria for vintage Fender type sounds. They’ve been around as long. |

After more than a year of waiting, I have finally received a tracking number for the turquoise Tone King Sky King I ordered more than a year ago. UPS is telling me the landing is scheduled for Monday. We'll see...

Wow, after all this time!
I hope you are pleased with the amp when you finally get to play through it! It seems like it's going to be a wonderful amp! - Glenn

I’ve just upgraded from a Blues Junior to a Tone King Gremlin and it’s great!
My family appreciate the built in attenuator.

That Gremlin is a cool little box. I suspect the attenuater switch has saved a few marriages.

The amp has finally arrive but the Fates clearly have a penchant for dark comedy so, naturally, I wrenched my back getting the amp into the house. Unpacking it will have to wait a bit until my back calms down.

I just hit another one yesterday as I started playing my Tone King Falcon Grande and kept moving the attenuator up until I hit zero and my ears weren't bleeding. Ruh roh. New tubes on order ... But so worth it when it is working and you can put it in a position where you can play it. |

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Jim. Is it a chronic back problem?

It comes and goes. Today, it came round like a toddler having a tantrum.
Luckily, I have a PT appointment tomorrow so we'll right to work on it.

Another possible brand to consider would be Swart.
http://swartamps.com/amplifiers.htm For my own needs, a few years ago I was on the verge of buying a Tone King Falcon but ended up with a STR-Tremolo. Both are great amps, really. Swart offers a couple different attenuators, also. Scroll down a bit. http://swartamps.com/swart_atomic_boost_pedal.htm
