Default HX Stomp and BoxKing power block

Hello all,
Anyone using the BoxKing to power the HX Stomp? At 9V it is supposed to put out 2amps power which is sufficient to power the Stomp (even though Line6 claims it needs 3amps). I am currently powering it with an XT1000 which works, but does not last too long. If you are using a BoxKing, which cables work? I tried using the same cable with the Line6 adapter that I use with the XT1000 and it does NOT work.

Thoughts? What am I doing wrong here? The BoxKing works fine with other pedals. The BK says it includes all the cables for the Line6 products.

Thanks for your anticipated responses.

I have had no problems with a 2 Amp Godlyke Power All.

I measured my HX Stomp with my most complex patch at about 10 watts which means a 1 amp supply is not going to cut it.

The 2 amp Volto explicitly specifies it can not drive an HX Stomp. So how they cooked up that 2 amp spec is suspicious. I did try it and confirmed it does not work.

Lately I am using the Line 6 power supply as I had a problem at a gig, which turned out to be the outlet strip, but I decided it would be good to know that it could not be my power supply.

Thanks Jon,
The BoxKing says it will power the stomp and is rated at 9V/2amps.
I can power other pedals but not the stomp.
Maybe it is operator error with the cables. My XT1000 power supply which is a rechargeable power bank will power it but not for 4 hours. I used the same cable with the BoxKing and it did not work.

Line 6 lists 3rd party
Power supply's on their web page
Under FAQ for stomp.
They also mention a larger
Center pin on the DC in.
To discourage folks from
Doing what your trying.
They only reccomend their proprietary
Dc-3g be used with the stomp. I understand the need for battery power.
Proceed at your own risk...

I am using an XT1000 power block that works fine - it just does not last very long - maybe 3 hours at best. The BoxKing should do the trick once I figure out the cabling...
