Default TC PolyTune 2 mini

Just ordered one of these but now I am reading and seeing all these references to this tuner pedal being for electric guitar. Will it not work with acoustic-electric guitars? Also, I am kind of peeved that it doesn't come with a power supply. That's like selling a car without an engine...

I use it with mandolin, dobro, and acoustic/electric and it works great.

You can also see the display when using it outdoors.

It works with any instrument that has a pickup. Be aware that it needs 9v power from a power-supply, it has no battery/phantom power facility. I guess it's designed for use on a pedal board with a mains>9v DC Power-supply, that's how I use mine anyway - tuner, EQ box, Chorus pedal and Orchid DI all powered by a Diago mains>9v DC PS.

I use it on my pedalboard for my nylon and steel string acoustic guitars as well as my ukulele---it's an awesome tuner!

I use the regular PolyTune on my electric board but it works fine with a signal from my pickup equipped acoustics. The PolyTune is a great tuner - I even have the app!

Any tuner pedal will work on an a/e guitar. Also, most pedals do not come with power supplies. Electro-Harmonix may be the exception.
