Default Reasonable asking price for used Martin 000-15?

My ex-wife is interested in selling her Martin 000-15. It is 12 yrs old and in pristine condition. She bought it new and took a few lessons and it has been in the case ever since. I'm not in a position to buy it, (business is still slow), and she asked me what I thought it was worth.
It is a great little guitar and is essentially new.
Thanks for any advice in advance.

According to my 2012 price guide about $750.You can also check the closing bids on ebay to get idea what it's worth.I have one and it's a great guitar.

General rule of thumb for current model Martins is around 50% of original MSRP (not MAP), not accounting for special or limited models.

How do you find out what the closing bids are? Do they keep that data somewhere or do you have to watch each auction?

That guitar newer with m-style appointments runs $975. I sold the 2011 for $800 I think. If yours is 12 years old.... Great condition? I'd say $600-$650.

If you are ebaying it... it could go for $700, but ebay and paypal fees would eat into your sale pretty meaningfully.

when you do a search, there is an option on the left (scroll down a bit) to search completed listings instead of active listings.
