An Art & Lutherie dreadnought that I picked up second hand for £100. I sold it to a guy at a festival who wanted to buy it. And I had another dread at the time. I know that they are cheap guitars compared to those being talked about in this thread but there is something unique about them. I might even have to find another!

Gibson ES-175 Steve Howe.

Sold it to a Forumite, bought a Lowden O32, sold it to a Forumite, bought a McIlroy A30c from John at Shoreline (still have it).

10 years later had to have another electric, so I bought a PRS Hollowbody Piezo.

Nope, two... I haven't sold any of my favorites. I might sell something, if the right Froggy came along...

A sold a phenomenal Greven L-00v about a decade ago for about what a standard series Martin would cost you today. I had lost interest in guitar at the time and it felt like a waste to have it collecting dust in my house.

I couldn't find a local buyer and didn't want to deal with listing it online, so I sold it to a shop, who made me a reasonable offer for a retail establishment buying used gear.

I think about it often.

The first was an HD-28. There is simply no way to explain the level of stupidity on my part for letting that one go. So I won’t even try.

The second was a Larrivee OM-50. This one was one of a handful that had a 1 11/16” nut by mistake from the factory. Convinced myself I was a dread only guy, so I sold it. Wouldn’t you know it, my meager collection includes exactly one dread out of five guitars!

For me it was a 1978 Fylde Oberon,I bought for almost nothing from someone who was emigrating. Sounded beautiful, but needed a neck reset. At the time, I didn't know how comparatively cheap they were, so I sold it with the problem fully declared. Since I've become more knowledgeable, I realise my mistake. Not only would I have a guitar worth three times what I sold it for, but I'd probably have the only rosewood 6 string I'd ever need.

I've bought and sold far too many guitars over the years to remember let alone reminisce about any of them. I really like what I've got now, and that's all I care about...
