Anybody own or play both?
I love my Eastman E6OM. But if you have always wanted a Martin, go for a second hand 000-15m.

Guitar wise I prefer the Eastman over the 000-13e but the 000-18 is way better. As far as the 000-15m it is clearly the best bang for the buck in the Martin line.

I already have a nice mahogany guitar.
Only looking for spruce tops.

I have a 000-1 too, mine is from 1997 and I absolutely love it. Solid top, solid mahogany back, lam sides. Plays great, sounds great. Sorry to side track this thread...

Nothing local.
I drove 171 miles for my last guitar and was thrilled I was that close to so many great guitars. When I think about how many hours I'm going to spend each year playing the guitar a day trip seems pretty reasonable.

If I was you I'd drive that 100 miles. I live 100 miles from wichita,Ks. and I drive it to check out guitars. But if you dont feel like the drive, my pick would be the Eastman E6om. I will never sell mine. It holds its own compared to my Eastman E20om-tc. Just 2 different sounds. Sometimes have a hard time deciding which one I want to play. Both guitars play far above their price. Just my 2 cents.
