Stopped at Eldrey instermunts in Lansing yesterday and played alot of rainsongs including a Nashville burst like yours. It was a great sounding guitar and if I was in the market for a large guitar it would be the one!
Purchased a Rainsong Al Petteway custom and very happy with the sound both for finger style and strumming. It is for our cabin in Michigan just did not want a wood guitar in the cabin so went carbon.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But, these guitars are so delightful.
As long as my fingers'll go,
Snow sucks, find the warmth, come on let's go.

That is a nice looking RainSong and I like the way you've flaunted its low-maintenance merits by photographing it out in the cold and snow! Enjoy!

Well, MiG50, Are you a songwriter? if you can turn that old chestnut into a song about guitars, guitar playing and snow, I bet your songs are fun!

I don't know if I can cash in on a single verse, but I'll take the compliment! The guitar does all the real work, I just sit there and look pretty.

I've played the Al Petteway model and really liked it.

Yes, love the snow shots! Enjoy that new beauty come rain, shine, sleet or dark of night.

Best,
Jayne

I was just glad to get those shots before the pets and kids stomped all over the back yard. That one patch of undisturbed snow in the corner of the patio was all I had left!

Keep loving this instrument. It has a warmth and depth to it that just keeps growing on me. I think they might be on to something here.

How are you still liking the Nashville, I just stumbled across it and man what a beauty! I had a concert series Rainsong Jumbo years ago and loved that thing, but I like this aesthetic even more, considering selling my X30 for it

Still deeply, deeply in love with this guitar. It's spent the last week or so in open-C# and open-C#minor, trying a few different things out. Try doing that with some other guitars, without getting out a wrench for the truss rod! That low C# note just sounds gorgeous on this guitar, you can *feel* it through your body as much as hear it. Strings are starting to get a little mellow, going to need to restring it in the next week or so. But otherwise, it's been a great companion for the amount of time I've been cooped up inside! It sits two feet to my left, ready to play whenever I get the itch.
