Default NEW!!! Ultrasound Pro 100!!!

Hi there folks,

I just got my Brand New Ultrasound Pro 100 Amp today (I thought I would brag a wee bit)! I have been playing with it and it sounds great.

I am a bit worried though because I have tried the Ultrasound 50-DS2 also and I know that it is dead quiet. This amp, when turned on and off, makes the loud popping sound common with other amps. I am wondering if any of the forum members who have tried the Pro 100 have noticed or experienced this same noise when turning the amp on and off. Is this normal? Any Got any Clue?

I have the PRO 200 and it makes no sound at all...other than the guitar that is.... no pops. You might want to check with Ultrasound.

FWIW when I turn on a pa (same principle) and hear a pop it is usually a ground fault. Reversing the poarity switch does it . If the amp has no ground switch there is not much you could do
if that was the problem. Hope that gives you someting to go on.
