Smile Going to Nashville/High Strung Tuning

I just ordered a few packs of D'Addario EJ38H Phosphor Bronze (10-27) strings for my Ibanez AC240E-OPN and plan on keeping it in Nashville Tuning from now on. Have any of you changed a guitar over to this tuning style to compliment your other guitars on recordings or live situations? Just curious how you like it. Take care!

I keep one of my parlors Nashville strung but I prefer the John Pearse high strung set over the D'Addarios. They seem a bit more balanced and have a higher gauge low E. This tuning really opens my ears up to different melodies so it makes a great songwriting tool for me.

Best,
Jayne

I finished gluing this small jumbo kit guitar together a couple of months ago.
Cost me $50.00 (ebay)
Used my own bridge and tuners and rosette.
Made my own bone nut and saddle.
Used ebony bridge pins.
Set it up exclusively for Nashville tuning.
Tried GHS CU-BBHT strings first, now on to a set of Martin MSPHT 10 and have a set of D'Addario EJ38H to try next.

Thanks for mentioning the John Pearse strings, I found the 620HS set. I didn't know they were available. I'll check them out too. The whole set is higher gauge.
