Hope you enjoy it! All the instruments and vocals are me.

Dave

i did enjoy it! i'm very impressed you played all of the instruments. i also appreciate you taking a stand on the annie/fanny debate. you are clearly are on the annie side.

Originally by Classics IV (although I don't think they wrote it) but it was covered by Dusty Springfield for the 1998 UK film Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels
i like the laid-back vibe you brought to that tune.

Words by Dorothy Field & Music by Jimmy McHugh. Originally written for and performed on Broadway in Lew Leslie’s 1930 International Revue. Showed up in the 1951 movie Sunny Side of the Street.

Tagged by most critics as “..an empty-headed musical,” the movie was a rickety vehicle for the careers of singers Frankie Laine and Billy Daniels.

Apologies for vocal. Getting over a cold.

Thanks for doing this showcase.

this link isn't working. you can edit the post to correct it if you want.

i got the correct link from the other thread:

i love this tune. i liked your guitar playing and your easy going vocal approach. dug those diminshed chords at the end!

Thanks mc1 for your comments. And correcting the link! Not sure what I did wrong there. Maybe copying and pasting directly off the original AGF post.

i think that's exactly what happened. the board software likes to shorten the visible text of the url, but it leaves the link unchanged (if that makes sense), so you need to right click and copy the shortcut (or url) and not the visible text.

at any rate, your link is now working.

This is terrible but I couldn't resist. "Rainbow Connection" from the Muppet Movie.

Yes, I tried to sound like Kermit and yes, I started laughing and screwed up in the middle.

"When You Say Nothing At All" in noledog's groovation.

I popped this out on the way to my band buds gig using my normal lil' gig rig; KC70 thru the LBA, SM57A Beta, via my HD Cannon for recording.
Tough lighting as the sun was going down behind me but had a blast...

your voice and guitar sounded great and i liked the live feel to it.
