NGD - Emerald X10

Actually, it's been a couple of weeks. But, I still wanted to share a photo of my X10. It was in the St. Patrick's Day shipping video, and arrived by standard shipping the first week of April.

Specs are:

• Royal Ebony veneer
• Black back and sides
• Custom extra thick neck w/ 12" radius
• Hyvibe

I also have a 2015 X20, and by comparison the X10 is much mellower acoustically. The treble is softer, and there is significantly less volume when I play with my fingers. It's quiet enough that I find myself reaching for a pick much more with this guitar.

I'm experimenting with different picks and plan to try different strings. If anybody has any suggestions to help get more more acoustic volume out of the X10, please let me know.

Thanks, the veneer is stunning. It came through exactly as I set it up on the 3D builder.

The Hyvibe unplugged volume is very low and the tone is muffled. I put an inquiry in through the Hyvibe web site this morning and Matt replied right away offering suggestions to get the saddle/piezo seated better. Will try later.

Nut width is standard 1 11/16".

The customization focuses on front to back thickness. Instead of the standard ~20mm thick at the first fret and ~21mm thick at the 12th fret, my guitar is 23mm thick at both of these points.
