Default Lost Hollow Lament

Hi all

This is the second piece I have recorded on my new Webber - still thrilled with the sound of it.

I love the wistful nature of this piece but it took me a while to find the old book with the tab in it to learn it.

I hope you like it and thanks for listening / watching :-)

The guitar sounds excellent Wrighty, great find there. The recording sounds as if I'm in the room with you, great job.

I have that tab floating around somewhere too,

a piece which is quite delicate to interpret, with changes of rhythm which are not simple.
the sound is very pleasant, well balanced, I think the strings are not very old.
Bravo for this work

I love this song, and you do it justice. Very nice!

Where can one find the tab? This may be a reach for my skill level but that's how we progress.

Thans Barry :-)

I wish I had know about the tab - took me ages to find an old copy of "finger style guitar solo's" ;-)

Yes, you're right - it demands care and attention to make it sound nice.

Strings are Elixir - maybe 3 weeks old but they work very well on this guitar I think and I do appreciate how quiet they are in terms of string squeak..

Thank you for the kind words - it's a lovely piece.

I found a book called "fingerstyle guitar solos" published by Mel Bay - I may be able to photograph it and send it to you if you PM me.

Sounds great Wrighty. I really like that you let the notes ring and sustain into each other on this piece. The dynamics sound really good. Thanks for sharing.
