That was my experience with a mint Santa Cruz OM/PW also short scale I got earlier this year that is cedar/EIR. Mellower and not as loud as my other guitars for sure but you can still dig in pretty hard without its tone breaking up. It adds flavor to the spice rack for sure.

Can’t wait to hear yours.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the ease of play and warmth!

WOW! I've never enjoyed an OM so much. Even with the short scale it is surprisingly versatile and the finish job Vancouver Guitar Finishing did is the best I've seen in a handmade guitar...like glass but sturdy feeling like a Ryan or Goodall. Hope you all enjoy the intro demo Will upload photos later!

Hey Dustin!
Beautiful, luscious sound.....I think it fills in some space in your awesome collection with that cedar providing amazing tone.
Your tastes and mine are similar with how a guitar "should" look (and feel!)......I love the way it came out....awesome details that beyond classy!
Take care,
Fred

That has the best sound of all the guitars that I have heard you play. Really nice. It has a tight focused sound without sounding harsh.

Beautiful sound and beautiful music...the thing is ... every time I listen to you play, I am saddened that we never had BIG(er). I am getting through this pandemic well, but seeing you and everybody at BIG(er) was the highlight of the spring...! Thanks for some great music [emoji445]

The tone is spectacular! So very nice to see a theme carried thru so completely.

Still think it could use some shell ... but that's just me! (only kidding - perfect the way it is)

This guitar of yours sounds fantastic! Again, a winner for sure! Enjoy what music it brings you. Explore it musically and develop unique music so to give the most honor to the builder for creating such a beautiful instrument.

Got to be added to short list to show someone when they ask "What's so special about a hand made guitar?"
