K&K Ultra Pure Mini vs K&K Pure Mini on Larrivee OM-40

For a Larrivee OM-40 walnut is it worth getting the K&K Ultra Pure Mini vs the K&K Pure Mini ?

Both are good pickups. Depends on whether or not you want the preamp built into the pickup (Ultra Pure Mini) or use an outboard preamp (K&K Mini)? I use both but only have one guitar (Martin OM-28VTS) with the Ultra Pure Mini. It works great especially for "plug and play" situations. I like the Ultra in my OM but use the mini in my other guitars which are all dreads. Just my two cents. Best of luck...can't go wrong either way?

I have the Ultra Pure Mini in a D red and it's great. I've never had any problems into an amp or PA system.
