I tried to find gaps or even the join lines in the miters and couldn't. Amazing attention to detail and skill.

Yes, and not surprisingly, since possessing that talent is pretty much a necessary condition for being a Somogyi apprentice - famously, in the case of Kraut, the admissions test was for Ray to carve a perfect cube using only hand tools.
