Default Anyone Have Flightradar24 app?

It’s interesting watching flights all over and seeing where they are going, and even identifying planes going by the house. But twice I have seen planes overshooting their flight plans, sometimes by hundreds of miles. Anyone have this app?

I don't use the app but I use the web page. Usually I like to follow my family's flights, not only does it make me feel connected but I can also gauge when to pick them up at airport and if the plane is on time etc.

There are some quirks, for sure - once in a while the plane bounces from receiver to receiver so looks like it is off course (but its not really).

Also, until the plane has registered for takeoff it shows as no-ID and you have to guess which plane it is on the runway. I don't think I stated that correctly but I think you get the idea.

All, in all I like this.

Very cool indeed. I am watching a plane right now that left Ontario Ca to Lancaster Ca. Probably a 30 min flight. It’s been in the area two hours. Has headed northeast at 10.5k ft and is now in Nevada. That’s quite a change of flight plans. Ameriflight A81902, reg number N7862R.

I last used the website when my wife was flying home from Nairobi, Kenya.

Thumbs up

Never knew about this app till this post. I live in the country on a lake and always kind of wonder where those planes high above were going and coming from. They are so easy to see from the dock on my recliner.... Now I”ll know. Great app, this! Thanks for the post.

My wife and daughter use it every day to track flight paths over our area and then take pictures of planes as they pass over. It's become quite the hobby for them.
