Default Alejandro Aranda's audition

This guy is self-taught and has only been playing four years. You don't have to like American Idol to recognize the natural talent this guy possesses!

Blew my mind. That kid is a protege destined for greatness, if he stays on track and humble. Thanks so much for sharing this with us here. Very amazing.

I am a lesson learned guitar player. Many years ago while playing in a church group a new guy came in. He had been playing six months and no one there could touch his talent. I don’t care how much you practice you will never come close to someone who was just born to play.

The staying humble part is key. But yeah, I couldn't believe what he was doing while singing well also.

Born to play absolutely! That's awesome you experienced that in a worship team atmosphere. It would have been nice to have someone that talented on my worship team!

My daughter watches American Idol and knew I would want to see that so she told me to watch him. I was amazed the talent (as was Luke Bryan).
I knew when I started learning how to play that I wasn't going to discover I had some hidden musical talent like that. Unfortunately, I was right.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as far as the talent goes. I thought it was a great performance, particularly for American Idol.

It seems like some people just "get it". Not to diminish the work they have put in, but it seems to come easier and faster to them.

Me... not so much. Everything is a struggle. But I still love it.
