Default Brass vs Nickel plate on StewMac slotted headstock tuners

The relic brass plate is a bit cheaper than the relic nickel plate but more expensive than the bright version. Is there a downside to the brass plate version against the nickel?

Thanks.

Nope, they all work the same. The difference is solely aesthetic.

The brass plated ones are heavier, which of course will affect the guitar's tone.

Thanks guys, all good points. I suppose I didn't expect it to make much difference to the sound but now realise it might. I was more concerned that it wouldn't be too soft or anything, but that seems kind of daft. I'll probably just order the brass ones.
