Default NGD: Breedlove Limited Run Premier Concertina - all walnut

Okay, I heard good things about an all walnut Breedlove Concertina a friend of mine had, and when I saw this thing, I just couldn't resist. It had a good return policy so ordered it without playing it . . . Whoooo am I happy I did. This thing sounds and plays phenomenal. It sounds far larger than it is and maybe it's just my expectations, but the sound is more akin to what I'd expect from a say . . Adirondack maybe? A little stiff, but does NOT break up like I've heard from so many small body guitars. Pardon me for using the sellers photos, lighting sucks here today for getting my own.

Thanks. I'm definitely becoming a Breedlove fanboy. I have yet to play one of their Bend made models that doesn't make me smile from ear to ear.

What model in size is this close to? 000? Taylor grand concert?

Wasn't familiar with this W/W model. It's not on their website, so how did you find this one? Love my cedar/walnut that I will never part with, but have been interested in looking for a short scale and this may just fit the bill.

Somehow ended up with 2 amazing Exotic series Breedloves and sadly will need to let one go first.

Thanks for the review.

The Concertina body is very close to a 00. And 12-fret.

Beautiful guitar. I've been really impressed with Breedlove. Was the W/W a custom order?

Very pretty. How is the volume? I've heard all walnut guitars can be fairly quiet.

Not custom order by me, but by the shop where I purchased. The owner visited Breedlove and selected the woodsets himself.

That rosette looks great against the Walnut. Is this effectively Breedlove's version of the GS Mini?

Garrett Park Guitars in Maryland is where I bought it. I know they have one more in stock with the walnut/walnut build. I went back and forth between the two for a while trying to decide. They are willing to dicker on the price to an extent as well. I'd definitely do business with them again.

No. This is more on par with say a mid-level Martin 00.

That's really pretty. What is the sound signature of a walnut topped guitar?

Your beautiful guitar has inspired me to make banana bread with walnuts tomorrow. I don't think it will be as yummy as your new Breedlove though.
