My post won't be much help because I've never played the 00-15, but I have played the 000-15 quite a bit and a D-15 a lot...
The 15 series is my favorite in the Martin line up for value, consistency, and most important, performance. I would go with the 000-15 and never look back. It will have everything you are looking for, and it isn't that much bigger than the 00. JMO, and you may be considering other reasons that differ with mine.
